Start with one job you can check: a morning work brief. This guide gives you sample project notes, prompts, and an answer key. You will review a first brief, supply a changed deadline, and check the revision before adding real sources or a schedule.

The dot starter kit is in this guide’s Resources tab for Rundown University Pro members. It contains fictional notes, copy-and-paste prompts, and an answer key. No installation is required for the kit.

Who can use ChatGPT dot?

At launch, access is rolling out to eligible adults on these plans:

PlanLaunch access
ProSupported markets outside the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the UK.
Business PremiumSupported markets, subject to workspace access.
EnterpriseBeta requiring admin enablement; off by default.

OpenAI specifies age 18 or older for eligible Pro and Business Premium users. Access may arrive gradually. Its launch notice gives eligible users a month of dot usage outside their normal plan allowance, with later usage terms still to come. Check current availability and terms.

Before changing your plan, confirm that your account and region qualify. Keep the temporary usage offer separate from the cost of the underlying subscription.

Pause, disconnect, or reset your dot

Pause stops work until resumed. Reset deletes the dot, including its conversations, memories, and schedules. Both are in the profile's ••• menu. Review the deletion warning. Dot controls

Use the least destructive action that fits the problem. For a temporary break, pause and inspect what was running. For a wrong source account, review the connection. Reserve a reset for a deliberate fresh start.

Save any work you need before removing it. Do not reset an existing dot merely to test this guide.

Other useful tasks to try
