Turn an Interview Into Two Clips With Riverside Agents

Turn one openly licensed interview into two captioned vertical clips and matching post drafts with Riverside Agents.

Questions people ask

Do I need to record a video first?

No. The linked interview supplies a source you can download and edit under its stated license. For your own recordings, confirm guest permission and your organization’s rules before uploading to a cloud editor.

Is the whole workflow free?

The source video is available under CC BY 3.0. Riverside is separate. This walkthrough uses Pro or higher for its upload and export settings. Check your account before starting a trial or changing plans; do not assume a free source means a free editing service. The optional HandBrake fallback is free.

Why use three agents for two clips?

Clipper suggests passages, Editor creates and trims drafts, and Marketer writes the accompanying post. In this test, agent handoff and automatic layout changes were unreliable. Request edits directly from Editor and use the manual layout controls in Step 5. Check each stage’s actual result before continuing.

Will an agent publish without asking?

Riverside says posts and scheduled items need approval. This exercise also avoids connecting social accounts. Keep the final review separate from any later request to publish.

Can I use the same process on a webinar?

Yes. Replace the source with a recording you may use and state the audience in the Clipper request. Check that each excerpt preserves its original meaning. Leave useful questions and qualifications in place, even when a shorter edit looks cleaner.
