Build a Tablet Sign-In and PTO Management App for HR
In my ongoing mission to go paperless, I created a web app that runs on tablets and replaces paper sign-in sheets. The admin console gives HR instant visibility and detailed reporting on employee and guest attendance across all our branches from a single pane of glass. In Phase 2, I’m expanding the app to eliminate even more paperwork by allowing employees and managers to request, approve, and manage PTO. Department calendars show everyone’s PTO balance and minimum coverage requirements. Step-by-step: 1. I created a web app that runs on tablets to replace paper sign-in sheets. 2.
