We’re narrowing down high school options for my daughter, who wants to focus on art. I’m using Astra to find public schools in our area and beyond with strong art programs and understand how they compare. Astra can research school rankings and academic results, review art courses and facilities, and bring admissions requirements, portfolio expectations, fees, and commute times into one clear comparison. It can also suggest preparation classes—such as drawing, painting, digital art, or portfolio workshops—based on what each school expects. From there, it’s helping me build a shortlist, organize open days and application deadlines, and prepare questions for school visits. We can work through the options together and find a school she’s excited about. Step-by-step: 1. I use Astra to find public schools in our area and beyond that have strong art programs. 2. I ask Astra to research each school’s rankings, academic results, art courses, and facilities. 3. I bring admissions requirements, portfolio expectations, fees, and commute times into one comparison. 4. I use each school’s expectations to identify helpful preparation classes, such as drawing, painting, digital art, or portfolio workshops. 5. I use the comparison to build a shortlist and organize open days and application deadlines. 6. I prepare questions for school visits so my daughter and I can work through the options together.
