I turned my company’s business continuity (BCEP) policy into an app that tracks storms, sends SMS updates, and automatically triggers policy actions. When a storm, tornado, or other emergency is reported within range of one of our office locations, the app sends SMS alerts to affected employees. It also triggers policy actions to prepare for office closures and safety check-ins, while maintaining an audit trail and compliance reporting. 1.
