In this guide, you will learn how to turn Grok Bot into a focused team that works across your apps. Here’s the three things you’re going to learn: how to set it up, which agents to create, and how to connect them to apps and routines so they can work while you sleep.
You will build a focused team of Grok Bots led by a Chief of Staff. The team can work across your connected apps, create specialized agents, use a shared cloud computer, and report back on what it gets done.

Tell your Chief of Staff to set up a daily debrief routine for each of your Grok Bots so you can see what they worked on.
Ask for one short report that lists what each agent finished, what is still in progress, and what needs your decision. Grok Bot can save that report in Notion or Drive, or email it to you at the end of the day.
This turns the setup into an AI team you can actually manage. The agents keep working in their own roles, the Chief of Staff keeps everything moving, and you get one clear update instead of checking every thread yourself.
Download Grok Bot, open the app, and choose Sign in with Cursor. Follow the prompts to start the seven-day free trial.
Once you are inside, you will see a simple workspace with your bots in the left sidebar and one conversation for each bot. The whole app feels more like a team chat than a giant AI dashboard, which makes it much easier to stay focused.
Grok Bot will ask you to create your first bot. Choose the premade Chief of Staff. This bot can review your work, recommend the rest of your team, and assign jobs to the right agents.
Keep this Grok Bot workspace focused on one project, one business, or one job. The agents share the same cloud computer and work best when they are all moving toward the same goal.

Next, add the apps that you want Grok Bot to use. You can connect Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Notion, etc.
Open Plugins in the bottom-left corner of the app, find the services you want, and click Add. Grok Bot can also connect to tools such as Granola for meeting notes. If you do not see an app in the marketplace, you can ask your Chief of Staff whether there is another plugin or connector it can install.

Some apps will wait to ask you to sign in until a bot needs them. If a website needs a password, passkey, or anti-bot check, Grok Bot can hand you its cloud computer. Sign in yourself, then let the bot continue.
Now tell your Chief of Staff to review your connections, learn how you work, and recommend the agents that will save you the most time.

Start with something you already need. Ask it to research a question, summarize what your team finished, create a project report, or pull together a draft from the apps you connected. The Chief of Staff can assign parts of the job to several agents, let them work in parallel, and combine the results for you.
Grok Bot also gives the team a shared cloud computer. The bots can browse the web, store files, open connected services, and keep working even when you switch computers.
Reports can live in Notion, Google Drive, or Markdown files on the bot’s computer. Choose the place where you will review the work.
Pro tip: Have the bots save finished work or sync documents once at the end of the day. Frequent connector updates can use more tokens and slow them down.
