Edinburgh Fringe Itinerary

This year, we only have one day—eight hours—at the Fringe, so we needed to decide what to see. We first scanned the roughly 800 available shows and made a shortlist of 38. After a second round, we narrowed it to 21. I gave the shortlist to ChatGPT, including the show times and locations, and asked it to create five itineraries that fit in as many shows as possible, allowed enough time to travel between venues, and finished with a particular show: a Johnny Cash tribute. The five options quickly became two. After one small tweak, we had our plan: five shows, minimal walking, and time to eat in George Square. 1.
