Using Claude to Inventory Halloween Decorations From a Single Photo

Every year when we pull out the Halloween decorations, my wife and I end up standing in the garage asking each other whether we forgot a bin or left something packed away. This year I stopped guessing. This workflow turns one photo of everything we own into a spreadsheet inventory showing what each piece is and where it belongs. 1. Once everything is spread out, take a picture of all of it, including every item no matter how big or how small. 2. Give the photo to Claude and have it turn the items into a simple spreadsheet. 3. Review the list. Each row shows what the piece is, a short description, whether it goes inside or outside, and exactly where it belongs, such as the porch railing, front steps, living room mantel, or side yard. 4. Use the list instead of digging through bins when you want to know what you actually have. Now we can pull up the list and know what we have without digging through bins or wondering whether something is still in the attic. We plan to do the same for our Christmas decorations, since we have a lot.
