STEP 1: Create your notebook and discover relevant sources

Head to NotebookLM and sign in with your Google account. Click "New Notebook" and name it after your target company and role, like "Goldman Sachs Data Analyst Interview Prep."

Click the "Discover Sources" button and prompt:

"I need sources to prepare for my Data Analyst interview at Goldman Sachs"

NotebookLM finds relevant articles, company information, and interview resources. Select the most relevant sources from the list. You can also upload your own curated sources like the job description, your resume, or company research documents.

Now click the “pencil” icon on top of the “Video Overview" button to customize the interview prep video by adding your key focus areas in the "What should the AI hosts focus on?" section:

Hit "Generate" and NotebookLM creates a video specifically addressing how to answer your practice questions with company-relevant examples and frameworks.
