STEP 1: Access the Tool

Start by visiting Bolt.new’s website. You'll be greeted with an intuitive interface asking "What do you want to build?" This is where you’ll describe your project.

In the main input area, describe your vision for your personal website. For example, you might type:

"Create a modern personal website with four pages: home, research, projects, and contact. Include sections for my bio, professional experience, and links to my social media profiles."

Be as specific as possible about the content and features you want. The AI will use this information to generate your website.

 

STEP 2: Customize Your Website

Once it generates your initial website, you'll see a preview. If you're not fully satisfied, don't worry - customization is easy:

a) Refine the design: If the initial design isn't quite what you envisioned, simply tell the AI. For example: "Make the website more modern and professional-looking with a minimalist color scheme."

STEP 4: Preview and Deploy

Before finalizing your website, thoroughly review each page of your website. Check for any typos, broken links, or design inconsistencies.

Also, make sure your website looks good on different devices. Ask the AI to optimize for mobile if needed.

Once you're satisfied, look for the "Deploy" button, usually located in the top right corner of the interface. Click it, and the AI will handle the deployment process, typically using a service like Netlify.
